Accreditation and Assessment
The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. As part of the accreditation process, these programs engage in systematic and ongoing evaluation of student and program outcomes. This includes assessment of student learning outcomes, average time to degree completion, and graduation rates. Data for recent years are provided below.
Assessment of student learning outcomes:
Average time to degree completion and graduation rates:
The below average time to degree completion and graduation rate data were determined using program documentation cross-checked with university enrollment and degree completion data provided by the Center for Institutional Evaluation, Research, and Planning (CIERP) at The University of Texas at El Paso. All analyses were completed in collaboration with CIERP to ensure accuracy.
